Health Wave

Health Wave is low or no cost medical coverage for Kansans. There are no exclusions for pre-existing health conditions or deductables to be met. Health Wave covers medical, dental, mental and behavioral health and substance abuse services: it emphasizes preventing health problems through regular checkups, or minimizing their costs through early diagnosis.

Your child may qualify for Health Wave medical coverage if he or she:

1. Is under the age of 19

2. Is a legal resident of Kansas or has proof of legal alien status.

3. Meets the current income guidelines listed on the application
